I just checked Ebay and it seems they're not worth much money.
Ricoh & Yashica. 35mm. zoom lens.

I paid $1 at a flea market.
Hmm, should I try and sell them? They don't seem to have much action on Ebay and can't list them on AMZ.

They sound more like cameras for users rather than collectors. You need more information on date, model, and features and some idea of how well they work before you offer them on eBay. There are sites that sell used cameras that may be more helpful than eBay. Google the name and any model number and text on the lens. You will get a better idea.

Yashica Microtek, 35mm 28-50mm zoom
Ricoh Shotmaster 105

I was at another site - CL and the answer was give them away. Not much happening on Ebay, and I'm sure the owners must have tried too.

You should be able to get $20-40 each, depending on condition. DO they work; ie shutter releases, no cloudy or scratchy lenses, etc. Do a search using SLR, if that's what they are. Not sure what you mean by zoom lens? You have to check closed auctions to see any results -- current auctions are now worthless for pricing purposes.

It seems the batteries for these cameras are a little high, could that be contributing to cost prohibitive?

Purists, (film camera users) want cameras with interchangable lenses. Although some point and shoot cameras will still sell, the demand for them is way down.
Casual shooters have mostly gone to digital, and as a result, Kodak announced that they are stopping production of film cameras.
There are more cameras of the type that you have than there are users.

I just gave the cameras away. Way too much work trying to get their worth and didn't see any action on Ebay...which brings me to another item I bought discount: Playstation 1 memory. There's a new PS3 out, is the PS1 memory worth anything?

I might have to give this away too...along with the Game Boy Advance recharge battery...I ignored my own advice: Only buy what you know. I do very well with items I know about...I don't know squat about games and cameras.

Oh, Salgal, you are so right: buy what you know. I have NEVER gotten anywhere selling anything else.
