The company I purchased peanuts from (bubblefast) for several years has stopped selling them on ebay. Anybody have to scoop on the best ebay deal for peanuts and bubble?

Don't know anything about buying them but a computer shop here gives us tons of them for free, the owner is real big into recycling. You might check around your area.

I don't buy my peanuts on ebay anymore, to expensive. I started buying all of my shipping and packing supplies from ULINE 1-800-295-5510 or online at www.uline.com. I get 20 cu foot for only $24.00. That's a bag about 4 1/2 foot across and 5 foot tall. One heaping helping of peanut's. They are my one stop shop now.

If you are interested you can find a store that gets lots of boxes with peanuts that will give them away. Computer stores are good.

I've used esupplystore on ebay for 6 years - always perfect customer service, same day ship, etc. I've checked prices every few months and with shipping their per cubic foot price has always beat everyone elses:

Mike - how much did you pay for shipping for Uline? I just tried to price it and it gave me a freight rate of $95 for one 20 cubic foot bag.

I buy all my supplies from ULINE also and I placed an order for a few printing supplies, paper, small boxes and then I added the peanuts.........well as carolinetyler said .........they wanted to charge me freight shipping which was 58.00 for the whole load because of the peanuts.

As soon as I took the peanuts off my shipping dropped about 40.00.............everything else I order is great and prices I feel are good also. They are in PA which is not far from me I'm in NY so that has a lot to do with the cost of shipping too maybe.

I got that $95.00 shipping quote one time also but the next time I did it, it was back down to $53.00 for freight(they also have an outlet in Atlanta near me)
But if you order something that has to be shipped freight - it does not matter if you order 10 boxes (or one bag of peanuts) or 200 boxes - the freight is the same.
I sell large items and often need very large boxes and I pay Uline 1/3 to 1/4 the local cost of a box if I can find one. I wish there was a way to split to order with some other Jacksonville ebayer but none of my friends sell large items.
I love there little boxes too. If you get the "in between" size that the post office doesn't offer - you can save ton in packing materials.

When I buy from Uline I usually have a HUGE order that runs around 2 to 3 thousand dollars so I don't even notice the freight charges. I called Uline and asked about residential delivery and there is a upcharge for that. I think that's where the different shipping charges are coming from above. I usually order 20 bag's of peanuts at a time along with 3 or 4 pallet's of box's, and usually 1 or 2 pallet's of other packing materials like bubble wrap, craft paper wrap and tape.

One real money saver Uline has is there discounted box's. Most of the popular box's are 30 to 40 percent less than normal. Also try using multi depth box's. They cut down on the variety of box sizes you have to keep on hand and therefore cutting down on money spent setting in the corner in the form of a cardboard box waiting to be used.
