Hi, I been selling on ebay for 5 years now I sell watches I have web site that is directed to my vendio store , I never tried to advertise my site with all the major selling Chanel's like Shopping Biz rate or even Goggle every time I that I look into it I get discourage by the fees that I will be paying Minimum of $1.50 per click and you don't even know if the person that clicks on your site is looking to buy.
My question.
do you guys sell outside ebay is worth it the fees these company's charge plus all the extra work you have to do.

No one can answer that question but you, after you've tried it. Most successful entrepreneurs endure a lot of trial-and-error before they hit on something that works.
Some here claim to move tons of merchandise on their web sites. There's no way to check the validity of their claims.
I have a friend who has invested close to 11 years and $150,000 building his web site. Yes, he was working on it before the vast majority of people had ever heard of the web. He wanted a cash machine so he could spend his days loafing. 11 years later, he gets plenty of orders but not nearly as many as he thought. Getting reliable part-time help to do the scut work has been a real problem. (On a recent visit he was grumbling about having to fill orders himself.) And dealing with the difficult and expensive technical people who developed the latest iteration of his custom site has just about driven him around the bend. With their help he's gotten consistent top-of-the-page Google rankings. At least until Google changed their algorithm recently, that is.
He doesn't get to sit on the beach all day and order umbrella drinks. He's got to worry about this stuff all day long and it's not any fun.
So think about whether or not you even want to go there.

Thank you for advise , right now with the vendio system doing almost everything for me and all i have to do is list and ship I Sell similar watches almost all year around until they are discontinued and i just delete theme from system.
I THINK I WILL stay with e bay after all there fees in comparing to other sites much chipper.
I was just about to set up with SHOPPING.COM
and few days later e mail came in from them stating they are increasing prices for November December WHAT NERVE .
In my category minimum payment per click is $1.30 and thats starting bid
