Well, almost free; just a small investment of your time. Starbucks coupons sell well on eBay, by the way. You can get up to $50 in cards.

Caveats: Read the Rules and Conditions. Judy's Book doesn't work with many older browsers (including old versions of IE for the Mac). You have to file a claim when you're ready to get your free coffee cards.

It's for real, though. Some people I know have gotten Starbucks cards in previous promotions.

Yeah, Steve, I don't know what their problem is. I can only "do" Judy's Book on Firefox for my Windows laptop.

I managed to sign on with a newer computer.

You have to write (5) 50+ word reviews, for the $5 coffee certificate.

I am such a blabbermouth, though, that I can do 50 words in a single sentence, so it's no big deal for me, though I do find the Judy's Book interface to be stubborn and unwieldy to the point of toe-tapping while I'm waiting for the next page to load.

LOL@fluffy!

Fluffy, I have this book its called EGOSpeak and the funniest section is on what this guy refers to as "collectors-speak." He goes on to note the phenomenon that the more words one drools out to describe a collector's item, the more it seems to impress somebody of its value.
I had to laugh when I read that. It's seems so true to me. Of course, I am usually just writing something to the effect; its a circley squirrely thing I have these glasses I have been trying to ID and date (I think theyre 50ties/60ties) but I found something similar and it says it has a "Saturn Optic base" - all I could think was that really sounds impressive, whatever it means!

How about in "Ebay Speak"....."age related rust". That's my favorite.

Kinda like "Waterview" if you're a realtor (overlooking a ditch)....or "cottage charm" (falling down shack )

Saturn Optic Base does sound kinda good tho -

LoL glassgirl, those are good ones too. I particularly like aged-based rust.

For these drinking glasses, I know what optic is (and thats impressive enough isnt it?), I know what base is, but the glass really doesnt have a darn thing to do with Saturn. And it doesnt even have rings around it - although I guess if your floatiing high on thoughts and words, the optical illusion could remind ya of saturn? lol! I dont know, but I really do not feel comfortable putting that in the description. (It makes it sound a lot more hoity-toity than they are, imo. They're ice tea glasses for Gosh sakes.) Am I being mean to the designers or glass makers? Maybe that is something that is hard to do?

Man, I bet fluffy could make millions writing descriptions of things!
