back is just a generic divided back, 1907-1915, no publisher info. couldn't get the Yahoo entry to pull up, got a link to it?
can't document Pryson anywhere either. sigh. it's a great card, though! they're called death head cards. anyone recognize the artist by the style of it?

The link on yahoo pulled up but took a long time on cable connection but the only thing on the page was a eBay search box and when I typed in Pryson like 5 million items came up that had nothing to do with Pryson lol so not much help there

good lord, it's amazing what a difference there is between a good scan and a bad scan!
googled the card as "the pace that kills" as well, but no hits on the exact same card. thanks for that lead, though! lots of hits for a 1936 movie about "cocaine fiends," called "the pace that kills."
husband's keeping this one for his personal collection and he really wants to know who the artist is.

kool card, I've always loved the
Gay 90's" art. I could not id the sig either, but did find a good site about Vanity art and illusion.

And more trivia, since it is an automobile and a Gibson girl, this art was mostly likely produced around 1910.

ltray - another interesting thing about the card is that - when blown up - those are people in the headlights of the car!
good point about the cars, yes, that would narrow the range from 1907-15 to 1909-15.
jeez, if only i knew who the artist was. that's one of the interesting things about postcards though, is all the other "stuff" you learn along the way.

Neat painting. I'd love to see other art by the artist. (artwork makes a great "do not drink and drive" statement)
My guess is it might be a little known foreign artist (French?), hence the lack of references for possible names (at least on English websites).
