I ran a dutch auction with 5 items.
One bidder bid for 6 items @ 3.00 each
one bidder bid for 6 items @ 2.50 each
one bidder bid for 1 item @ 3.00 each
The bidder who bid on 6 items for 3.00 each won all 5 items.
The bidder who bid on 1 item gets nothing and the other bidder gets nothing.
Now the bidder who bid on the 1 item paid for the item so I returned her money with a long explaination of why she didnt win.
Tonite she leaves me a NEG feedback saying
"Can't settle confusion with item. Won or not?"
Her neg just lowered my score and really pissed me off because of her lack of knowledge even after I explained it all to her in two emails she still thinks she won.
When I saw the neg I lost it so I wrote her an email asking her if she knows math??? plus telling her much more,
What is wrong with people cant they read and understand simple things, i'm just so anoyed right now, .........just need to vent

I don't either,I'd ask eBay about that. Did the bidder that only wanted 1 bid first ? If so then she was suppose to get one right ?

well the only way I can explain it is maybe since the winning bidder bid 6 items and I was only offering 5 items.......he was given 5 items and she was given 1 item but how can she get 1 item when i only had 5 items he got them all.
I don't know, i'm so pissed I cant think
but where would the other item come from for her when he wins 5?
I can't give her what I don't have.

well i think i figured it out
its my fault because I must have had 6 sets not 5 sets...........if that is the case then I'm the one that cant do math, just over working I guess and helping the family its very hard to think sometimes.
But if thats the reason then thats why she can leave me feedback.
I just wrote to the high bidder and asked him if I sent him 6 sets instead of 5 sets, he is a steady buyer of mine so maybe it will work out, not sure but I'm hoping
Remember the movie, The Good, The BAd, The Ugly?.........thats ebay........lmao

If she didn't win, she should not be allowed to leave feedback. Why don't you try leaving feedback for her I'm not familiar with dutch auctions so I'm not sure how this should work. Stonecold is our resident expert on dutch auctions. Maybe he will wander through and explain what happened.

Goodmorning
Guess your right LtRay
I had thought I had only 5 on auction (MY MISTAKE). I had 6 and all 6 were sent to the bidder who bid 6 I honestly don't even remember sending him 6 but I contacted him last night and he said yes I did send him 6 and the bidder that gave me a NEG was in contact with him she wanted one hinge.
He said he will take care of sending her one hinge and try to get her to remove the neg.
