vintagepostcardsdotorg	posted on November 26, 2005 08:22:52 PM paloma, you're right, lustreware isn't the word i'm thinking of. jeez, wracking my brain for the right term. that coppery finish was used on ceramics from about the 1820s or so on up through the late 19th century. have a cinnamon shaker from about 1848 that has that coppery sheen to it. but i can't think of the correct term! http://stores.ebay.com/postcards-postcards?refid=store http://www.vintagepostcards.org
