This is so pretty and I know it would sell but what words to describe this? Blue glass cup and saucer with 24 karat gold decoration, raised or relief design. HELP!!!
Let's see if I can still remember how to list a foto here.

Use the term "cobalt blue" to describe the color. Is it glass, porcelain or what?

Vintage, Am I missing something? I don't think lustreware fits in this case. It's made of glass.

paloma,

you're right, lustreware isn't the word i'm thinking of. jeez, wracking my brain for the right term. that coppery finish was used on ceramics from about the 1820s or so on up through the late 19th century. have a cinnamon shaker from about 1848 that has that coppery sheen to it. but i can't think of the correct term!
