Newby Bidder just left me negative feedback with a positive comment. I asked him about it and of course it was a mistake. He wants to rectify it. I have not left feedback yet but do not want to leave a negative but I do want him to get remove from his end. Is there anyway around this without using Square trade. I don't know if he will pay the $20 that they charge.
Any suggestions please?

Leave him positive feedback, then do the removal. You don't both have to leave negative to do feedback withdrawal, and it sure is cheaper than paying $20 for it!

OK, thank you for the info. I may be dense about this but how do you do a removal without paying the $20.00. I have read their rules where it lands on the Sqaure Trade info.
I thought that at the last Ebay live they were going to resolve all this so newbies couldn't do this any longer.

I had a similar situations where a buyer was not happy with their purchase, although it was exactly as described. I returned full payment and told her to keep the item. She still left negative feedback. I asked her if she would remove it as I had refunded payment and she agreed. However, after I left her postive feedback, I could never get her to remove it.
