Why don't people remember the last scam like this? It was all over the news and even now eople are told to beware of scams. Why did Ebay not stop this one? This is one time I hope the buyer is a NPB!

Very true. I guess that is what makes me wonder how people still get caught in these scams. It was all over the news from the last one (the PS2 box) that I am surprised people don't read more clearly for these things. I know all the buyer had to do was read the auction. But I still feel badly when someone gets taken no matter what the venue is.

OMG, what a jerk! Can anyone contact the buyer? I feel really bad for him. You can get the game for under $30 on Amazon. I can't believe eBay let this one go.

"you are bidding on a picture of the xbox 360 and the actual madden 2004 game, you will not win an actual xbox "

what a scam.

He has 1 positive and 1 negative, and a positive feedback score of 100% ?!?!?!

Ebay has not updated the feedback total yet today. Looks like the buyer zapped him after he won the auction. The next update will show the seller as a 0 feedback crook. Betcha the winning bidder is a veteran seller using one of his bidding accounts to expose this guy.

yes and he added this in AFTER the auction had been on for 3 days and the bidding was over $400.00. Im wondering if anyone who had already bidded notice that.

Classic...It just goes to prove the old saying, bidders will look at the titles and the pictures, but not read the description. Check the feedback scores of the bidders in the bidding history. Most of these are newbies or very inexperienced, casual bidders. These are the ones we need to get into Ebay. We don't need to have a scam artist scare them off. Pretty slick how he set up his template so the revision blended in with the original description.

The thing of it is Sparkz, once you bid on it,how many times would you go back to read the description again? Most of the time you just check to see how high the bidding is going.Take for instance I ALWAYS snipe. So I when I first setup my sniping program on the first day,I put in my maximum bid and wait the 7 days to see if I won.I have never gone back and read the description again.
