USPS Economy Parcel Post 28 to 42 business days - N. and S. America, Europe

Seriously??? Well, at least the new ebay shipping info should help the buyer understand the meaning of "slow boat".

PS, note to self... NEVER buy something and have it shipped USPS Economy Parcel Post

I did that early on trying to give the best rates and it took 3 of the slow boat items almost 75 days. I will not do economy parcel post ever again.

What is bad is to pay for Air letter or Global priority and it take over 30 days. I learned to put stickers on all sides of my package for AIR what ever to country sending to. It has worked---so far. Had to 2 air packages take too long and found out it was not stamped by postal service -- Air. Just a tip make sure you mark it all over and ask them to stamp it too. I had proof of my shipment being Air and it was not sent that way. talk about POed I was. I asked post office if I could get a refund and they looked at me like I had asked for all their money. LOL Looked all around for the postal police to come grab me.

I'm making a list and checking it twice!

I had a guy in Australia beg me to send a glass piece by boat , so after 5 or 6 e-mails saying he didn't care if it took a long time or that it had a huge chance of getting broke that way ....I agreed and it only took 5 days lol gee. We both sent e-mail back and forth joking about how it must have went by speed boat instead of a canoe. Was funny how fast it got there.I wouldn't personally try it again but ya never know

The last two shipments I sent to Australia were economy surface, at the insistence of the buyers. The first one got there in three days and the second one took 5 days. The way they explained it at the post office was that this is quite common for parcels coming from California. The way mail is routed out here, Calif. export mail is first in line to fill up any excess cargo space on the plane that has been reserved for air cargo to Australia.

28 days is quick. I've had surface mail from Europe take over 2 months from time of shipping.

I hate waiting to recieve from Europe but... got admit even I am impressed with Asia right now. Order that was shipped on Friday from Thailand, showing will be delivered today.

UPS got on the ball for the holidays. They called while the shipment was in the air to get all the info to get it cleared thru customs on arrival.
