As far as where your item shows up in a search (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. on the list) ~~ does it matter where the keywords are located in the title? . . . Or . . . just so long as a word is in the title it will be found.

For example: (not meant to be a real title)
If a title is:
Electric Bulb - 3 Watt
. . . COMPARED TO . . .
Bulb Electric - 3 Watt

and I searched for "Electric", will the second title show up first, or is the "Buy" search strictly by ending soonest.

I realize people can sort based on highest, ending soonest, lowest, etc., but in the original search, is it strictly by ending time?

I have never noticed any effect on a search caused by where a word appears in the title. From a programming perspective, it would be more difficult to make location matter, so it is unlikely to be an eBay "feature."

Write the title to read as naturally as possible.

I haven't noticed a difference either.

Only thing I can think of is if someone is searching for a given phrase (ie search terms in quotes). In that case "electric bulb" would problably be better than "bulb electric"

To increase the number of hits, you would list it as "L@@K Electric Sex Nude Bulb"

Sparkz, that was just so "last year."

THIS year, if you want to get attention you just say "X-Box 360 Picture only!"
