No come on guys and gals if you had bought these wooden buckets over the years, or even used them before you know they always come apart for good cleaning, and when you are ready to use them, you just snap them together, pour in water or whatever liquid you are working with and its always a tight perfect fit. Some folks always kept water in them, just so they would stay swelled and tight.

"Just snap them together" huh? If it's an assemble by number, and you have a balloon in the center to hold it, you might be able to put it back. Trust me. It's remarkably intact since no one EVER manages to so!

Jeez, LtRay, when I clicked on the link and saw all those "enlarge" links I thought I had stumbled onto one of those "for men only" emails.

The funny thing is I think I know who these guys are - if they are the ones I'm thinking of, they buy at Crumpton here on the Eastern Shore. That's probably where this came from. Too funny!

Well...I would say "intact" is not the best adjective to use for those pictures they posted
But you made a good point Hagey. Any one from the hills were I wuz raised knows how to assemble a barrel, tighten it up with a good pond soakin and then season it jes right so it addes a nice mellow "glow" to its contents. Heck, ifn yur any good atal, you kin do it in the dark!
