Since I now apparently have to remove both the word "cash" and the Bidpay logos/text that are in the descriptions of my 3000+ store listings... I was hoping there might be some sort of easy bulk editing I could do... 'tis the season for miracles, right? (I have a feeling a know the answer... but I'm really hoping for some good news right now...)

See thread on BidPay's demise. I hope that Vendio will remove the photo and BidPay will be gone from my listings!

Why do you think that Vendio would go thru the programming hassles to remove part of your listing and do you honestly believe that they could do this without screwing something up?

EAM - Can you bulkdownload your listings in an excel spread sheet and bulk edit from there? Or are you referring to your current items?

The html makes editing descriptions in a spreadsheet screwy. If you want to end all your listings, you can import them into TurboLister, export them to a csv file. Rename it as a txt file, edit with wordpad using search and replace. Save, then rename as csv file. Import to Turbolister and launch to eBay. I would limit this to 500 records at a time. Nasty, but it works. Vrane has a free tool that lets you add to (not edit)descriptions in live listings. I may use this to amend my listings if this is accceptable to EBay

Fenix, Vendio only has to delete the image at http://imagehost.vendio.com/img/partners/bidpay/bidpay.com_88X33.gif to make BidPal go away in my listings.

I just noticed a new "Vendio Reviser" tab has been added in the group of tabs that show up when you log in (Sales Manager, Image Hosting, etc). Wonder if this feature would help you??

Pixiamom,
That was kind of what I was thinking. It would indeed be a nasty process... and even at the low cost of store insertion fees... would still cost some $$... but I think it might be the way to go. What a pain, though! Not what I needed at this time of year! Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Vendio reviser doesn't edit item description field. See the FAQs
