Today? No.
They have ALWAYS broken the news around 9 or 10 pm Eastern time that whatever special they are goingto run will run from 3am-3am Eastern time, or midnight to midnight Pacific time.
They may or may not mention it this evening, but you aren't likely to hear anything in the morning or afternoon.

It's a crap shoot. Last year they scrooged out until they had so many complaints, they simply had to do it. Ended up being after New Years.

FLD brings out the "clutter" that Meg once said Ebay would like to get rid of. Last year, they made it a 10 cent listing day for the 27th. Recall there were are lot of angry people who likened it to receiving "a lump of coal" in their stockings Perhaps it did not cut down on enough of the clutter Ebay wants to avoid and this year there will be no deep discounts. It does however boost the listings for the fiscal quarter which is supposed to please stockholders.
