Going thru my PayPal payments, ijust found a payment for a fixed price item I did not know had sold. Went to my Works transactions, and sure enough, there it is, then I went to MyEbay where I had just been and had not noticed any sales this morning and....it's not there. The last sale it is showing is one that happened during the night.

I don't usually do Fixed Price, Multiple Item sales - I leave those to my store. Do they not show up as the sales happen but rather only after the listing period ends or is the monster just being glitchy?

That happened to me before Christmas. Had a sell that didn't show up for about 12 hours but it was showing in my Vendio sell list before Ebay. Only knew I sold something that was paid for immediately by Paypal. Had me searching for several minutes to check it out finally went to auction page and it showed sold so shipped it out before Ebay put it in my sold list.

I think sometimes ebay has a lost list no one sees. LOL never never land list nnll....

I would guess that ebay's databases are being slow due to the massive listings of the 10-cent day.

Ten cent listing days put a tremendous strain on their system. If fact, when they used to have free listing days, they had to alter search to limit it to the first 25 words in the description. They were afraid that if they had the search fully functional, the system would crash. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Ebay has limited the functionality of certain site features during this promotion.

I've had it happen at other times as well - interesting about the search limiting - I hadn't known that - you know what they say - if they can't stand the heat,,,,

Has the quantity in your listing been reduced by that one sale or isn't it showing there either? I haven't had this particular glitch happen but I certainly believe it's possible!

The quantity was effected but it just has not showed up as a purchase. Wierd since I have sold items from three other si miliart fixed price auctions and all of those individual sales are showing up.

I had the same thing happen in mid December. Two items sold from my store and I only knew about it when I received a PayPal payment. They didn't show in EBay SOLD or in Vendio as sold and to this day still do not show as sold. The total number of my items in my store did reduce by 2.

This past year with EBay, nothing surprises me!
