Basically, the year end 10-cent day is a quick effort to boost 4th quarter profits. 10 million listings times 10 cents, plus all those FVF's make stockholders happy.

Don't forget the revenue from those gallery photos at .35 cents each which apparently everyone feels compelled to use.

Don't forget all the relists that go up that day where the seller forgets to take off the 10 day duration, gallery and the other nickel and dime features that seemed like a good idea at the time they were first listed. Wonder how many (besides me) got caught on a few of those?

I just can't do Ebay anymore. Lost more fees, no sales. Not true with Amazon. Even though they take 15% commission, no matter, at least I sell.
