Looks like today's sales are stuck in "closing" and not moving to "closed". I don't use Vendio WBN but not sure how that effects those of you who do. Good thing is that there probably aren't many listings ending because of holidays (mine are store sales)

ADDED: OH GOOD GOD! I can't edit the apostrophe out of the title and I NEVER do that..except this once

LOL. I've wished many times that I could edit my subject here.

I'm not affected by the "stuck in closing" problem tonight, but that's weird, isn't it? I'm not sure I've seen that one happen before.

Stuck in closing has been happening a lot in the last two weeks.
Also several of my sales from 1/1/06 are not even closing after a purchase and payment. So there is no way to record shipping info and mark as paid.
Vendio needs a phone support system as they do not seem to reply to emails.

The Vendio announcements say phone and email service is not available from dec 26-30. Where are the Vendio offices? Are they in the rain, mudslide, road closing region of Calif?

So far , mine have done ok. What categories are you noticing stuck auctions in. Maybe we can help eBay identify the "problem that doesn't exist".

Ray - It's a Vendio problem..seems to be sales from 1/1 and 1/2 . Mine are all postcards and are store and fixed price format. I don't think it's an ebay problem - "My ebay" shows them as sold (and mostly paid for).

Mine are stuck as well as of Sat nights Bin's They are vintage transfer ware looks to me like it is a system wide ... category wide problem.I have written to Vendio I'm sure a pile of dealers have. Hopefully they will get this taken care of TODAY. I depend on those boxes to stay "organized" I am in the Eastern time zone I will give it until 2 ish eastern before I call with a what's up! You'd think they would post a note to us on the cover page... we know it's happening and we're addressing the problem!

Looks like they finally got around to making a announcement about the problem.

Listings stuck in "closing" status
01/02/06 - 12:09 pm PST
X00433 Open Post-sale

We are currently investigating reports of successfully closed listings that are stuck in "closing" status and have not moved to post-sale. This is a top priority issue, and we hope to have it resolved as quickly as possible. We are in communication with eBay to ensure that they are aware of the issue if it is originating with their system.

In the meantime, we recommend that you handle your sales manually. You should be able to identify the items that did sell as they will display "closing..." in the post-sale column.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience while we work on this problem.

Nope not fixed yet (though auctions seem to be working ok) - I have 25 FP and store sales stuck in "closing" - auctions moved.

It is not just a Vendio problem, I am seeing the same thing on 2 other Seller Services sites.

I suspect the problem really is on eBay's end.

Remember that sites such as VD and SD have to have access to our accounts to download our sales info.

My bet is that something is screwed up on Ebays end where our service providers are not receiving our info.
. When your ship comes in.... make sure you are willing to unload it. .
