Thank you so much for your sweet words.
Do I EVER live close, about 20 minutes away.
I've been to the hospital everyday to see her.
My other three grandchildren live about 130 miles from me. I see them, but not near as often as I would like.
This baby is so special, her father is 52 & her mother is 43 & she is their first.
She was a complete suprise.

I was 43 when I had my first and only. Not a surprise but I have to learn to stop procrastinating! (maybe tomorrow)

MCJANE We moved from Denver to New Hampshire ... following our daughter and grandchildren... she wanted to raise them in a small town. We were here for 8 months when she said I'm going home to Denver!!! I can say with my whole heart that nothing took the wind out of my sails like that anouncement.I miss my daughter but THE BABIES... Now with a 150 year old farm house that needs wrok we are here until its done.We can't take a financial bath along with the sad emotional one. You are so lucky... give that little girl a hug and kiss from Aunt Bonnie ...We want pictures OFTEN

Aunt Bonnie, not exactly the same situation, but along the same lines.
About 10 years ago a friend of mine was widdowed. She lives in Staten Island, NY, born & raised there. Her son & his wife begged her to move to Atlanta, where they just bought a condo, & get an apartment nearby.
Less than a year later the son & wife separated & both moved back to NY.
The exception is Margie did not move to Atlanta.
She decided to hold off & give herself time to think it over for at least a year.
She told me with my luck they will move away leaving me stuck in Atlanta and they did or would have if she had pulled up stakes & moved.
I guess the pigeons always come back home to roost. Best to stay put.
I lived in Wheatridge, CO for a year & a few months in Climax way up in the Rockies.
You want to see some snow try living up there.
Absolutely you are Aunt Bonnie. Jim & Angela will really smile when they see that, I sure did.
By the way the baby is Jade Louise, Louise after her deceased mother & Jade, Well I have to get used to that. I'm more into girls names with syllables.
She just came home today & was here with me all day.

No kidding, 43. That's fantastic. I would have loved to have had a baby at 43.
Know what I was doing at 43....Back in school getting my BS in nursing.
A baby would have been more fun.
Ralphie, and all this time I thought you were delivered by TWA.
