"registered as a prvate seller"


I see this under feedback info for a seller in auction. i dont remember seeing this before and dont see it under other sellers. kindda weird.

Its something new eBay has started...the seller sell stuff as a private seller ...You can also be registered as a Business Seller

Except - you can't make a change now - until they fix it. It's a feature they added in mid-December, then withdrew it when they experienced a number of problems.

Those you see with a "Business" or "Individual" -- or whatever they're calling them - are those who made the change while it was available.

They did say it would be reinstated in a few weeks - so probably later in Jan. or early Feb.
