It's hard to believe that 95 is the record high for June! We lived there for 21 years, and I could swear we had hotter weather than that, some Junes. It is, however, "cooler" than July and August.

98 might be an average, a bit low but an average nonetheless, for June in Las Vegas. The record high is 115, last time LV hit that temperature was in 1994.
Now I know for absolute sure why my sister moved to Hawaii...
A little to far for me to drive from Gettysburg, PA.
