If I were to list a set of china, is there a category for Lots, or by just putting LOTS in your title, does this do it?

I occasionally list a "lot" in some category or another. I've noticed that some categories have a special sub-category for a "lot," while others don't. I think, though, that if you put "Lot: China" etc.etc. that's enough for someone searching for "lot."

Use the word "set" in your title also.

I've tried using the word lots and lot in my titles and grouping similar items together that weren't worth selling individually - they all tanked and weren't worth it - but this was antiques and/or porcelain - maybe it works for other items.

I've never done it with china (maybe sanmar will weight in about selling that as a lot) but I have with jewelry. Jewelry has a lot category, I believe, but I never use that. I listed under vintage jewelry (if it is) and designer jewelry/Victorian jewelry etc - whichever sub-category best fits.

"You" ??? It ain't me. I just saw IT and wondered who in their right mind would want that trash.

Maybe I should try the same thing with my garage, a shelf at a time...

But then, it doesn't look like it is working too well for him yet.

Hey Mike, let us know how it comes packed. I would hate to pack that stuff all in one box for shipping. Fess up what item you really got your mouth salavating over?

Lt Ray looks like you have some ebay items there in your garage to sell or are you just wanting to give it away, if so I could always use another fishing rod.

I never thought to get rid of stuff like that but may be good idea only if someone else comes pack it for me. Better yet do a pick up only.

not a prob Cash.

Irked, the fishin poles are DH's and he won't part with them

The other stuff is still here because some of it is eBay-able, some of it will go to our cabin in TN and the rest of it will probably end up at my favorite charity.

It is all just such a jim-jamble that my OCD mind can only deal with it in small doses.

A good day is one in which I can see the path widen by a few inches. It is taking forever to sort, list or donate.

I do like that guys idea. But like you, I cannot imagine trying to pack it all into one box.

ltray...That's the reason he listed it in Ebay Motors. By the time he gets it packed, the box will be as big as and weigh as much as a Cadillac Eldorado.

LtRay those spot lights look interesting the rest of the stuff I may already have. Anyone know how to audition for HGTV's Clean Sweep program?

I have 3 of the old spot lights. 1950's vintage I think.

Clean Sweep, lol, if someone called them in, I would need serious drugs for the next 4 years. The thought of them coming in makes me more nuts than having to deal with this a box at a time, lol.

I don't need Clean Sweep, my MIL and SIL are just waiting for me to give them a chance out cleaning it out. Every Sat morning they call and ask if we are having the garage sale yet

I'm dealing with the mess simply because when I do get around to writing the auctions, I am making some good $$$. I have boxes of Rosevill, McCoy, elegant glass, WW11 items, old car parts, you name it. I just don't know what is in which box since the move.

DH has more PING golf clubs than any one man should be allowed to own, but he won't EVEN consider letting me get rid of those!
