I was checking lamps on ebay and came across this seller's auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6244644898&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1
Before noticing their horrid feedback, I had emailed to find out how much it would cost for shipping. $13.00 for a lamp that would cost $4.05 to ship via Priority Mail. Maybe a buck in packing material. How do I know??? I have the very same lamp and wanted a matching pair.

I am just wondering how these people stay on ebay with so many negatives.
**************
Can't touch this! uh huh, uh huh.
Makes you wonder why they did not just open a new I.D. to start selling again.
**Never mind. I just read their ME page. It explains their bad feedback. " if you pay by personal check, all items paid by personl check will normally ship in 25-30 days."***
On the buyer's side, look at this feedback "This man will commit suicide soon. He has cancer.A bad man thief." Good Grief, she must be into voodoo or something.

Too bad they're a bad seller and lousy shippers. They have a picture that I have up for sale and I wouldn't mind having a second one. The one they have is framed but mine isn't. My grandmother gave me the picture several years ago and I have kept it put away for the most part. No room on my walls right now. I guess it has more value than I thought.

In their about me page they say:
"We travel extensively with our ebay business, that means that we are home only between trips to take care of packing and shipping". If they are that into their Ebay business, maybe they should take care of the packing and shipping on a regular basis rather than only 'between trips'.
To me, that's ridiculous - I wish my Ebay business was only buying trip after buying trip - but it's not - it's buying, listing, customer service, shipping, responding to questions, etc. I can also understand not having great feedback - I wish mine were better - but you can really tell alot about a seller in the way they respond to a neg. to me that's the most telling about this person - and I wouldn't do business with them.

Caroline...I noticed that too. Their replies to the negs look like cut and paste stock replies. Sort of like what we get from Ebay when we contact them

You have to go to the "About Me" page to see the warning about slow shipping, but you can read all about how quickly you have to respond to them right on the auction, and their reply to most of their negatives is that the buyer was warned.
Ballsy enough to brag about their feedback in the auction description; you've got to love them.
It's no wonder they don't accept PayPal
OTOH, if a small fraction of the people who waited months for their item would have filed against them...
