Hi everyone. I'm so pleased to see the rates aren't going through the roof this time around!
I have a couple of questions on eBay stores. I've decided to reopen mine. I wanted to start loading it up, but I'm going on vacation next week. Can I open it, put it on vacation, and add stuff to it?
Also, how does Vendio work with the stores? If I put everything up directly through Vendio, do they get .10 (or .05) for each gallery picture, as they do with my auctions, and a portion of the sales? If so, I might as well load straight through eBay, eh? I only need one picture for each item.
And the listing fee is the same, not matter how many of each item, right?
Anything else I might need to know? It's been a long time since I had a store. Thanks so much.

That's one reason I like Vendio. Some of my listing's might have 400 or 500 pictures in them and it does not cost me anything extra for them.
Just another white mouse in the ebay maze looking for some cheese. --- Mike

It all depends on the plan you select for Sales Manager and Image hosting.
If you are talking about a store and sell items less than $30 average sales price then the Variable Power Plan probably is for you. Under this plan you pay $29.95 month and 1.25% FVF and image hosting would probably be free. You can list as many items as you like with no listing fee. The FVF might sound terrible but amounts to $125/month on $10,000 sales (we should be so lucky!)
Here are the plans in a nutshell (you can find them in "MY ACCOUNT" and click to see other plans:

Now, I'm even more confused. I know about the different planes, and I"m on the one that you pay to list each auction and pay 1% when the item sells.
I'm talking about an eBay store, not a Vendio store. I'm on the plan that I pay .10 for the first 50 auctions and .05 for all others. I have a minimal amount of pics stored on vendio, so that fee is (I think..I always owe more, so it's waived) $5.95. I know I can put as many pics in each of my auctions as I want. That said...
I want to open an eBay store (not Vendio). I will have one gallery pic and one pic in the store listing. Will Vendio charge me that .10 (or .05) to list each store item? And will they charge an end of listing fee when each item sells? Pixiamom, am I understanding that Vendio does not charge for pics put in a store listing (ir are you saying they don't charge extra, for the gallery listing?) How about once the item sells..do I pay that end of listing fee (1%)?
I'm just wondering, since I'll only use one pic in each, should I just list the store items straight through eBay.If Vendio charges just like they do for regular listings, the inexpensive store becomes much more expensive.
I also wanted to know, if my store was on vacation, could I still list in it, to prepare for when I'm off vacation?

ok it sounds like you are on the "pay as you go" plan. I think you pay $.10/month for an ebay store listing and 1% when the item sells and the ebay gallery view (not the scrolling Vendio gallery) would be no additional Vendio charge. TO clarify this you should post in the vendio hosted "vendio Services->merchandising edition" board below.
I am not sure whether you can list when your store is on vacation. There are a couple of vacation settings - under one option the buyers do not see any items and under another they can see items but are warned that you are away until such and such a date and they are still able to purchase items.
