Now when I search for something - even if it's with "" around it - Ebay is showing ALL the store auctions right below my search. There's no more "search stores" it just goes right into the store search.

Where I used to bring up maybe 180 items - it now shows 500+.

Not sure if I like it this way but I'm sure the store sellers will love it.

Yes! This was announced when they introduced plans for "Ebay Express" - we are loving it.

Since ebay did this the few things I keep in my store have been selling like hot cakes. I myself like it.

All I can say is, it's about time! Loving it!

As a buyer I hate it! What were carefully crafted searches of auctions for some of the things I collect now bring up dozens of pages of repetitious junk. I know I can stop searching when I hit the stores after a page or two of auctions since there is almost never anything I want there, but I find myself slogging through page after page of useless stuff. I know I should be strong enough to resist but if I was I would not be such a helpless collectiholic!

Are you saying that store items now come up in a search the same as auction items? If this is true, then shouldn't store owners have to pay the same fees as auction listers?

Seems to me the store listings come up under the auctions listings no matter how many auction listings there are. In the "good old days" I only saw the store listings if a search returned less than 25 hits from auctions.

The new search has me baffled. If I do a simple search in all categories, all the store items appear almost seamlessly at the bottom of the auction items. If I search or drill down to a specific category, it goes back to the old view of auction items on top and just the first 30 store items below.
