Hi to this great board. I have a lovely Japanese (I think) pillow in the original box and I would like to know its purpose. My husband thinks it may be a ring bearers pillow but I'm not sure they have that custom. I took pictures of the writing both ways, not sure which way is up. It is approx 10 inches square. Thanks!

Don't know what it is, but the writing on your first box photo is correct. The second photo is upside down.

After EXHAUSTIVE "research" by Ralphi-san:

Mayhaps, a famous "Ouchi-Ouchi Sori-Butto" pillow, known for centuries to provide pile relief?
