It is the week of March 20th up here in Alaska.
Is it the same week all over the country?

I think it really varies. That is when it is where I live (oregon) but in Southern Nevada, it is in April

Spring break varies from school to school. I work at a private college, and our spring break is in the middle of March (11th-19th). My wife works in the public school system, and her spring break isn't until April. Other colleges in our area have breaks before or after ours. All-in-all... I'd say it could range anywhere from the beginning of march to the end of April (maybe even into May...). Hope that helps!

It is already Spring break for some of the Northern schools. We have them arriving on the beach already.
I bet Ralphie knows. He should be seeing bikinis headed to Daytona any day now. The beach over there is always full of Breakers the week before Bike week.

Well shoot.
I was hoping for a specific week or two so I would have a good excuse for a vacation.

Spring, what's spring??? Here in Ontario we have about 3 feet of snow on the ground. We had a ice storm last night, power was out for almost 5 hours. Blizzard today, roads closed, 2 degrees F forecast for tonight.

80 here in Florida today and the same for tomorrow. Must be spring. We get college kids from all over the country here for spring break and I think it is spread over about a month. Around Easter time.

After three weeks of spring like weather, California is getting hit with an Arctic blast from Canada. NWS is forcasting a possibility of snow on the floor of the San Joaquin Valley tomorrow night. The only weather event in this country that I can think of that would be more rare than snow here would be a tropical storm in Minnesota in December.
