Ive been under the impression that sunday night was the best time to start and end auctions. I sell European car parts, not sure what people who drive Volvo's are doing on sunday evening but seems like i had more bids on sunday night, at least compared to tuesday noon.
What do all you pro sellers have to share on this? I appreciate your help.

I'm glad you brought this up - I've been meaning to look up this article again for awhile and you finally spurred me on to do it. I've always gone with Sunday nights, but after yesterday's outage, I might rethink that!

IMHO, for me, in declining order, I end on:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Sunday
Hardly ever on Friday, never on Saturday. Sundays are favorites of many people, and it's so crowded that nobody goes there any more
For the weekdays, Monday seems best, but the other days I use in part to spread my risk of an outage (eBay or Vendio).
I usually end around 6 PM PST, give or take 20 minutes.

edited to add: PS I don't do many BINs except for items I expect "best offers" on; for the most part I do actual auctions.

I only deal in antiques, and have found that if you list desireable, hard to find items on any day ending in "y" you will do OK.

When I lived in Chicago,I drove a Volvo as it is so cold there,now I am in the south,I drive a Honda.
My brother lives in San Francisco and he is on his second Volvo,I think he will be a Volvo fan for life.
Many folks living in the Northeast drive foreign cars,as that Wall Street bonus gets bigger and fatter,it is mandatory they drive expensive foreign cars and bid up Manhattan condos so they can walk to work.
But I am not sure if they need to repair their own cars nor do they know how?
Sunday nite is a good day to end your auctions,Monday nite is not too shabby either
