Congrats! We are expecting #3 in a few weeks, I remember how exciting it was for the first (still is exciting, but life sure does change, for the better though) - As far as a gift, not sure what she needs in the delivery room, I got a nice necklace around that time, she still wears it so I guess I did good..

Congratulations!

Babies are just the best thing in the whole wide world. And someday you'll see that grandbabies are the very best of all! Our daughter gave us a new one last October (we have two now) and they are the joys of our life!

Daughter and husband used to snowboard, travel, race cars, etc. All that changed this winter but they aren't complaining.

I know you'll enjoy the little one!

Congratulations Micmic...Get her a gift certificate for 30 days of housekeeping service from Merry Maids or a similar service. She won't feel like or have time to use a vacuum cleaner for awhile, and you sure don't want her to learn that you know how to operate one of those things

Congrats MicMic, Mom and Jr.! Sounds like it is time to start a gold charm bracelet or necklace but since that would take a bit of shopping time, start with flowers and then do the shopping.

I like Sparkz's idea--the gift certificate for cleaning. PLUS, get her something pretty--even flowers will do on short notice.

Mic that is great. Nothing like having a baby to bring happiness into ones family. The maid idea is best I can think of.

Congrats!

I've been through 4 childbirths as a very interested bystander. From a rational perspective, having a child doesn't make much sense, but then again music, art, candlelight dinners, laughing at slapstick, crying over a movie, doing the Sunday Times crossword, ... don't either.

The one universal fact is that life will never be the same.

I led a very stupid life before my first child was born. As a medical certainty, she saved my life. I helped give her life, and she gave me mine back.

Enjoy it, and remember that you'll eventually get a good night's sleep again.

Congratulation!!! We will want to see a photo as soon as you can get one.

As for a gift - Sparkz sounds great. I think a day spa would be wonderful as well.
