Have any of you recently filed a UID and had the FVF granted?

I filed one, closed the dispute late yesterday evening. I checked my seller account invoice and I have been credited with the FVF.

Now when I view the dispute it says:

"Dispute status: Closed: Strike Reversed"

Does this mean my buyer didn't get a strike?!?!

After everything I went through with this SOB, if he didn't get a strike I am going to be ______! [just fill in the blank, I'm too mad to]

Edited to add: This is NOT the Canadian bidder I was worried about.

He probably told some sob story to eBay and eBay reversed the strike. It stinks, I know.

Let's hope whiners like that don't get too many chances. It's too bad seller's can get breaks like that just as easily.

Ebay will only reverse the strike if he paid.
He has to submit evidence he has paid.

Well, he definitely did not pay. Auction ended Jan. 30 and first the check was in the mail, then he was going to pay by credit card but he couldn't get my checkout to work. Excuse after excuse. He finally started threatening me with negative feedback if I wouldn't agree to a mutual cancellation of the transaction.

Cost me $190.00 sale and I doubt the second highest bidder will still be interested now.

EBay probably let him off because I don't accept PayPal.

Not true. I have had ones reversed before when customers did not pay and had also refused to pay.
