How do you get an auction to display FREE SHIPPING? I don't have enough room in my title to put it and want it to show in the "shipping costs" tag at the top of the listing.

Can't find it in the help section and I don't think Its a Borg brain problem. HELP! Thanks

Duh, finally figured it out. You HAVE to enter 0.00 in shipping or else it displays "check the listing".

Now it says FREE.

I'm running a little experiment to see if offering FREE shipping really helps sell an auction.

*BTW, tried Live Help for the first time in 7 years. They could not figure it out either. I found it before they did!

yes,it does,especially if it is a bulky item which costs a lot to ship

The next time I get the time to play with eBay auctions, I will try that experiment of “FREE SHIPPING.” Of course, anyone with a brain knows that with any item of size or value, that the shipping has merely been added into the cost of the item.

OF COURSE, with the inane e-mail questions I get, perhaps there are enough gullible buyers to sell an item faster if it offers “FREE SHIPPING.” Over the years, I have seen buyers fall for dumber things than falling for Free Shipping.
