I had a buyer who did not pay so I filed for final value fees and he was NARU'd. A couple of weeks later he found out when he went to list that he couldn't. Hopping mad, says will send check please remove strike. I answered as soon as money order arrived I would remove strike. Many pleading emails later, money order arrives Federal Express and I reverse dispute and remove strike. He STILL, 3 days later is not un NARU'd! I sent power seller email to eBay 2 days ago asking why, no answer yet. I thought when the strike was removed they were activated again? What could have happened, he will really be mad now!

First off He is the jerk not you. He did not pay for a lot, apparently more than once. (One non payment don't get you kicked off Ebay) You asked for your funds back from Ebay which you should of done. He paid you and your removed strike, that is all you should do. Is HIS problem not yours. HIS ISSUE IS WITH eBAY NOT YOU.Probably he has piled up added strikes which will keep him off ebay until he lies his way back on.
Notify him you have removed strike and any other problems are between him and Ebay.
Just block him from buying and block his emails. Waste no more time on this looser.

He should go to MY EBAY and look at how many strikes are removed and how many are not.
He may have to email Ebay and ask why, there is a form he can use, just follow the instruction.

Did you remember to charge him a $25.00 administrative fee for removing the strike? If not, tell him that as soon as he sends you a money order for $25.00, you will notify Ebay and he will be reinstated.

It would not surprise me if it is no longer an automatic reinstatement when strike #3 is removed.
Think about it. This would be consistent with eBay's recently-announced policy about suspensions. He will probably have to appeal his suspension and they'll tell him he has to complete a tutorial before he can get his account back.
After all, he still has strike #1 and #2 on his record. He's still a "repeat offender."

I think fLuff hit the nail on the head. Sounds like ebay's giving him a "waiting period". Just try to remember that your not the bad guy here, he is. If he had paid in the first place he would not be in this situation.

Personally, I wouldn't have removed the strike. Sure, pay me for the item a cuzillion days after the fact. I will send you the item you purchased. But don't ask me to remove a strike. You earned it. You deserve it.

pmelcher said she removed the strike fenix03 so she did everything the right way,why on earth would eBay NARU her ? I personally would have not took the payment or removed the strike . Less buyers that don't pay the better....and if hes a seller ,shame on him for not paying .He knows better and knows what it feels like to have a non paying bidder.

If your bidder paid for the item and you still refused to remove the strike,he can contact Ebay and showed proof that he has made payment.
For exmaple, your email to him that you received the payment OR email from Paypal that he has sent you a payment.

Thanks for all your answers, I emailed ebay again about it today. Still no answer. I got another email from him and he is really mad now, 'all of this over a $4.00 item' he says he is losing money and can't pay his bills because he can't sell (he has a feedback of 20 with 91.8% rating so how much does he sell?) and it is all my fault. I know it isn't and I have done all I can. If I get my first neg when they reinstate him, so be it. I can't have been a seller since 1998 with zero negatives because I have done so much wrong! Thanks for the encouragement. I will ignore him from now on.

PM - Tell him that you have done your part. You are a vendor who sold him an item, not his mother and he has a problem with ebay he should probably consider dealing with it himself instead of complaing to a stranger for not cleaning up his messes. Then tell him that if he addresses you on this matter again you are going to report him to ebay for harrassment making it just that much more difficult to get his account back and be done with him.
Oh yeah... and on the slim chance in hell he does get things cleared up - go ahead and block him

pmelcher,
tell him to go to My Ebay-disputes and email Ebay with proof he has sent you payment.
He will get a response from them in a few days.
There is a form to do that.

P, Thank You for originally filling NPB on this jerk. More people need to do it to get the scum buyers off of eBay. Sellers who do not file NPB are doing a disservice to other sellers.
I never had a problem getting paid for collectible items until this year. And more than half of my NPB's this year have been fellow eBay sellers. I have no remorse filing an NPB, especially against another seller who should know better.
My latest scam was a buyer/seller who told me his Paypal account had been cleaned out. Ok, so I fell for it and waited 3 weeks for his check to arrive. Sent several emails. He is running auctions the whole time and his auctions say he accepts PayPal.
Finally said to heck with it and filed the NPB. Amazing, his PayPal account was rectified overnight.

Hey!! If you get a neg, the earth will NOT come apart. I screwed up once & gott 10 negs from one customer. I didnt realize that I could have appealed & had 9 of these removed as it all in one order. So, in 8 years I have 15 negs & I am still selling with lots of positive feedbacks (now over 1000).

This is a huge MYTH. Once the NPB process is done, ebay don't give a rats ass after the fact. They only care if the person paid BEFORE the NPB process. Not after.
