I have an auction that has been on for 3 days and it still shows a count of 1 I know others have looked at it it has a watcher. I have had this happen in past also in my Vendio list only showing one count the one it picks up when I check the auction when first listed. I have not to my memory used the reset link next to the item in the Vendio list. I can't remember what that is for. Anyone know and let me know what it does before I decide to click it??

Have you had anyone else look at the auction? Maybe you really only had one visitor.

1 visitor was me and yes ebay shows a watcher so they had to go to the auction to be able to watch it. I decided to go ahead and do the reset link and it came up asking me if I wanted to reset the counter so I did that now it is back to 0 will see if that does it. Probably didn't have many visits but know it had more than my one visit to it. I know it does not recount my visits or anyone elses that is how I have the counters set to not recount. I had that happen once before no counts past my initial checking of auction and even sold the item with several bids but counter just didn't work no matter what I did. On that one I finally added an andale counter to it. No biggy but would like to know if I need to do adjustments to title or description to add more keywords or something. It would be real hard to adjust title as it is a book, I had already added some more keywords to description. Only reason I know counter isn't working is ebay shows watcher.

If you can locate the counter for this item in the list, you can click to reset it. Sometimes the 'smart' counters can break, so if you edit the counter - switch it to a 'simple' model instead.
It'll end up counting each hit from each visitor, but if your 'smart' counter gets stuck, its a great alternative.

Thanks, I edited it to simple. Appreciate having that counter link too. Now if it happens again I can change things. Thanks Christopher.
