I am sure someone much smarter than I am has figured this out. I spent the last 2 hours try to...and finally just gave up!!! What I want is to be able to pick the catagory I want in my scrolling gallery. The gallery board said I can't do it...but I have seen other sellers have theirs set this way. For example on some I just want my books to show in the gallery...and on other just my linens. Could someone explain how I do this? I have 22 items in each catagory in my store...but they still won't show correctly! I have the gallery set to show store items only. Help!!!!

Are you sure the others you've seen doing this successfully really are doing it, or are they only selling one category of items--like books, or postcards, or such--at a time?
I'll be interested to hear if this is possible for you to do. Sounds good.

Yes...they are really doing it. I saw one seller with a gallery that has all his china on the china auctions and all the books on his book auctions. Vendio said you have to have 22 items in that catagory when you list an item...like 22 china auctions and it will fill up first from that catagory. I tried that with setting my gallery preferance to store...because I do have more than 22 books in my store & I assumed it would fill up with those books...wrong! I still got a mix. I have even gone into an auction...clicked on the catagory box in the gallery to get the correct Ebay catagory in the gallery and then viewed source and coped the gallery HTML and put in my auction. That didn't work for me. There has to be something that triggers what goes into your gallery ...a catagory number...something. If not how can you have 3 choices of gallery displays---- auctions - a mix - store items. I can't find whatever it is that makes this happen. Now that I can't...I am more determined than ever to find out.
