Hello all,
Thought i would turn here for some much needed advice. Today I recived a phone call from My eBay account manager, ( a meassage) telling me to check my email as one of my listigs had been pulled for that new "we accept cash policy ", i thought i had revised the mall, but i guess with 1500 listings its easy to miss a few.
So did did a search for the word cash and revised the rest of my listings.
Tonight they pulled another 2 listings for keyword spamming , i have a scrolling text, that see my other items,,, bla bla bla.. so thats considered keyword spamming, Obviously i`m on somones hitlist, lol.
My question is this:How in the world do i revise all of my items to take this out, thats a heck of alot of listings and i am overwhelmed at where to even begin, if i dont revisethem i rikl violating more policys and who knows suspension??
does the vendio relister do this ?
or do i have to manulay revise over a thousand items?

I'm not positive but I think you could use the FREE ebay bulk revisor. When you click on view all listing's there are check box's besides them. Sellect all of them on that page and then click the revise button at either the top or bottom. You won't be able to do them all at once but you can do them in batch's. When you get done with one page move onto the next Might be worth a try since it's free. I'm just not sure if it will do what you want to do with it.

Crystal - I had something similar happen to me a few months ago. Although I did not have as many items as you do, I still had a lot to deal with.
So, when I received the notice, I immediately responded. I wrote that I was unaware that my items were not in compliance with ebay policy. However, I would immediately revise any policy violations within the next 72 hours. I would need that much time because of the number of items to be corrected.
ebay responded with a nice email, thanking me for taking immediate action on the violations. They did not send further notices, or remove any more items.
It actually took more than 72 hours to correct everything, but no one ever bothered me again, because I was "attempting" to bring myself into compliance.
Try to do a similar response to the email notifiaction you received.

Wow! I haven't heard of anyone being nailed on the Cash reference until now. I still see Cash in many listings, some pretty obvious: PayPal or Cash in envelope ONLY... I wonder if a competitor is turning you in? Excuse my ignorance but what is keyword spamming about see my other items? I pay the exorbitant auction listing fees in order to drive people to my store via links. Is that keyword spamming? EBay reviser is great for batch editing certain fields, description is not one of them. Instead of manually revising 4000 listings, I put a text picture in my store header that clarified that payment options were now in accordance with eBay's new payment policy and that has worked for me so far (knock on wood).

I am surprised at the "cash" thing too.. there is a large postcard seller with "62931 items found for cash" when I did a search of his store!!
I think the keyword spamming about seeing other items is because the other items are not the same type of item listed. Right? It is my understanding that if you put this in an image file rather than a text file it would not be KWS.

aaaaaaaaaaah i`m sooo discouraged, :>(
Well thanks for the response, at least i dont feel so overwhelmed alone.LOL
I called in and let them know i am revising all listings, so its noted, shesaidthat she cant stop them from being removed if ( i like this one) somone reports it, so she basically said somone reported it with actually saying it,lol.
I call this eBay scabble.
An hour later 2 more listings removed, one for the cash again and the others , you ll never guess what for, its unbelivable.!
The Vendio " see my other items link " as it links to the Vendio store.
Now i`m really confused, i replied and sent a copy to my eBay account manger, asking why is this link not in compliance,is Vendio not eBay certified ?
So somone has it out for me for sure, c`ant imagine why,
well never mind i said that , i guess thyre just jelous people who have nothing better to do.
So what do i do about this Vendio link then.
anyone?
Anyone from vendio can anser this too, :>
The keyword spamming had all related items, it was like this,
Please visit my eBay store to see all my items , we have Reiki sets, Crystal healing kits, auctions at 99 cents and much more, only 1.25 shipping on each extra item.
I mean i get how that can mess the search engine, but give me a break, LOL
I did ask, about an image file and that OK she said, as the search engine wont pick that up.
I`m just more peeved about the vendio store link now.
dont know if i can post link here but if anyone wants to take a look at what i mean,
go to crystalmoonauctions (dot com). that goes to my eBay store.
The scrolling text is what thyre calling spamming.

The link to your Vendio store IS ALLOWED as long as the view it brings up is just your ebay listings (you can't have it link to ALL your items if you have other non-ebay items in your store)

I looked at one of your auctions - that Vendio "see other items link is allowed". I have it on all of my listings and so do lots of other Vendio users.
I can see where the scrolling text may be a KWS issue....just make it an image file (there must be a way to do that) and you should be ok.

Is this the result of the new "report this item" button??? OMG what a hassle this could be!
