I was curious as to how many sellers use DSI for their needs. At what cost of the item would you use DSI such as anything over $50 or $100. I primarily ship USPS, heavy items via FEDEX ground.
Please give me your input on this matter.

I'm liking them again as they just sent me a check for $250. on an appeal I didn't think I would win. (Thanks again Tom)
I have only used them for big ticket items as I'm not set up to use them daily - or I would. They are very reasonable - something like 40 cents per $100. I've never paid more than $4.50 for $1000 worth of insurance.

I also give a big thumbs up to the folks at DSI insurance. I can't believe I ever used the USPS - I have a policy that covers every package I ship (up to $250 value, which is not a problem for me) - I've had a problem with the USPS, someone at the Seattle Bulk mail center is opening my packages and taking a few things out. (I have an active postal investigation going) but DSI pays the shortage on these packages. Never a problem with claims, they are great at follow-up...Overall, if you are going to insure, why use the USPS when you can use DSI?

We have noticed that your insured shipping volume has been very sporadic. Since our open policies are for active shippers, we have a few alternatives for you.
