Does anyone know where I can find dating for Meissen Back Stamps? I am putting a Blue Onion Covered Veggie on for a friend. The backstamp in crossed swords over the word Bavaria. The auction is going @ 1400 today. This piece does not appear to be very old, but Iwould really loke to know. So would Judy. Judt & Ray (her husband) own an antique store here in Santa Maria. I have putting things on for them for several years with some success. They each go back to the midwest on shopping trips. Judy goes in early May & Ray goes in late May & again in October. He has a truck with an 18 foot box. He brings bak Jud;s purchases plus a full load of furniture.
