I have ALMOST gotten finished moving my items into the expanded store categories (some won't move because of some technical issues so it looks like I will have to manually revise about 1,000 items! UGH)
I have tried displaying ALL of the categories but the list goes WAY down the page - can you take a look at my store (link on my sig line below) and tell me what you think of displaying just the top level categories or would you show expanded categories?
Thanks for the input.

It looks fine to me. I have about 10 more categories than you, and I was just thinking earlier today that it looks too confusing, I think I need to pare them down. Takes me ages to find the right one when I am listing anyway!

Looks good to me. I am trying to decide how to display mine so I won't have them all strung out down the page.
amber: I printed the list of my categories on Ebay and just enter the numbers for each when I'm listing. Not sure if your auction software will allow it that way, but it is much easier for me.

Looks organized, and easy to navigate the way you have it. And if someone wants more detail, easy to do. Super job there -- wonderful store!

Thanks for the input - I will leave it the way it is then.
Myfavorites - by the time you do 50 states (and I have subcategories for many cities)and topics etc the list is a mile long. LOL My sister (pixiamom) came up with the "Click to expand" idea - hope people realize it works!
I have a saved listing template for every state, country, misc ( over 100 of them) as "inventory items" in Vendio - all I have to do is click and list and the category info and referral link to my store are already in the template.

I'm glad you kept it simple! I just found a postcard of my home town as it looked over a half century ago -- when I lived there. So thrilled to have found it!
Can't wait to add it to my family album. It will go great with my other old postcards and photos from that era.
