I am going to try something and need your expertise first. Can I list a rare record for US buyers. Restricting bidders to US only BUT allow only specific international bidders only? such as my having to preapprove them first?

You should be able to - by adding those "approved" to a list similar to your Blocked Bidder List.

Found it:

Creating a buyer requirements exemption list
If you have already set up buyer blocks, you can allow specific eBay members to bid on or purchase your items regardless of any requirement(s) you select by adding them to your buyer requirements exemption list.

If you have already set up buyer blocks, you can allow specific eBay members to bid on or purchase your items regardless of any requirement(s) you select by adding them to your buyer requirements exemption list. There are two ways to do this:

From the Buyer Requirements Exemption List page

Exempting eBay Members via the Buyer Requirements Exemption List page (I think this is located under "preferences" on the left nav from your My eBay page):

Go to the Buyer Requirements Exemption List page.

Enter the User IDs of the eBay members you want to exempt from buyer requirements.

Click the Submit button.

Hope this helps.

Toast, you are funny. Thanks again for you invaluable help and spotting that stupid error. I have to calm down and be more careful when cutting and pasting

I was able to research a about 80 records this morning. A few are pretty high dollar items. I am now off to take the fotos!
