very annoying in the very first sentence of any auction at ebay?
DUH! It is an auction site. OR am I just being irrational ----again LOL
Just curious if anyone else thinks putting that in your description is redundant.

I usually do fixed price or store sales, so for me, auctions are uncommon. Yes, I usually do use that phrase or something similar. Out of 1600 items listed under my ID, it's good to point out that yes, this item IS an auction.
I realize that people with any sense will see that it's an auction, but you can't always assume. Sooner or later, someone would send me a message asking "Where is the buy it now button?"

Oh another annoying one is "Up for bid is bla bla bla".
I tend to really get wordy in my descriptions but have not added any of these wordings as I find it really annoying, maybe it is just me but I know it is for sell and I can bid or do buy now or what ever. Picky picky picky me.
