I would be very reluctant to bid on something of that value from someone with all those spelling mistakes. I would have thought that if you have such a valuable item to sell, you would at least check your description for mistakes!!

Don't they teach English and spelling in the schools in Great Britain anymore?

QUOTE: "Apologies for my typing and spelling. I'm dyslexic and want to do this for myself."
I didn't actually read the auction (who could??? & why?) but this just popped out at me.
I wonder what the bids could be if he just wrote a "normal" auction?
but then maybe his ME page explains it all:

I am afraid I would want it authenticated and if it was truely what he claims then it should not be on feebay.
What a lot of giberish or rambling. I don't believe for a minute he is dyslexic he has too many variations of spellings to be true dyslexic. I understand spelling is consistant in letters and mix up in placement of letters too.
Someone is either going to get a real deal or a dud I pity the dud getter if it is a fake.

OH my GOD. How awful and how sad. The guy is obviously mentally ill. Looks like a really old book, and he should have listed it with an auction house. No telling if it's authentically Shakespeare's.

MY GOD!!! That has to be the longest listing I have ever seen. And the spelling errors just, well, speak for themselves.

Reading his feedback is very amusing. He is one of these people who leaves his feedback as a reply to the feedback left for him (or her). I hope all the people who have bids have read the auction carefully!

There are very few undisputed examples of Wm. Shakespeare's handwriting and those are
on legal documents.
This has to be a joke. Might not be so funny when they get their ebay invoice.

I do hope the online robot has better spelling and English comprehension skills than he does. I hope he wasn't the programmer!
Couldn't he, since he's a genius and all, have used spellcheck? Nevermind, that would have taken a month.....

Interesting that the cover image in this seller's eBay auction is the same as the auction through Eldras Auctions.
As I didn't read the entire listing text, I may be jumping to conclusions here, but it strikes me as rather "curious".
Out of my league money-wise or not, I certainly wouldn't bid!

There are only six known Shakespere signatues & three of them are on his will.
Here is one from his will.

Pat1959, I think the Eldras Auctions link is just his way of showing more and bigger pictures of that bible auction.
I agree that the presentation is bizarre!

There are now 56 revisions to this auction! What a pity some of the spelling and grammar were not not revised. It rambles on forever now, some of the questions and answers are very interesting. Someone wants to buy one page, another questions export licences.
