I had one that paid with Zero shipping for a very large item about 10 minutes after requesting a total for shipping. Guess I wasn't fast enough.
Last night I got an offer for a store item which I took. It's going to Canada and I have an international calculator which they didn't use - just added $5.00 and a great little note asking that I mark as a gift? I took a $10 discount on the item - does that mean I'm willing to pay 1/2 the shipping too??? I think NOT.

LadyJ,
Check your EBay preferences under "Payment from buyers". Make sure the box is NOT checked for "Allow buyer to edit total during Payment".

However, also note that "Buyer is always allowed to edit total if you do not provide shipping costs or the shipping calculator in your listing."

I do have a calculator but it's a Vendio calculator so I guess that doesn't count.
I refunded all the money and invoiced them both. One has already paid again and the other said he would.
I guess that's the biggest draw back with Vendio. Rarely does anyone use my checkout anymore so there is always a chance of this type of problem.

I sell internationally, and I don't put shipping costs in my auctions. I sell small craft leaflets etc. in my store from $1 up and I get a lot of multiple buys, so I have no idea what the postage will be until I weigh the items.

I have in big letters in my description not to send payment until I tell you the total. Does that make a difference, NO WAY. I get people working out their own postage several times a week. Even though the box is not checked for "Allow buyer to edit total during Payment" somehow, they are still able to do it.

Yesterday I had someone win 5 small auctions, and pay with Paypal separately for all 5 items.
