not really sure the 20-cent "sale" is all that surprising. the 21/22nd timing of it "accidentally" moves people who relist unsold "sale" items up into the post 8/22 date when fees increase

Yahoo sales did better for me this week than eBay did. That should give you an idea at how poor ebay is right now.

Sales have been SUSPICIOUSLY good over the past few days, especially from my store items. I posted in the Bill Ccobb thread that I thought Stores would soon be included back in search to partially offset the ill-will they've created due to the rate hike.

Maybe they already are including them and they just haven't announced it yet?

Hi
I had a very good week for sales and even sold a few things out of my store where my store was dead for the passed month.

I also think it depends on what your selling, for example if I did not have very collectible items up for auction I would have had just a regular week, that has a lot to do with how your sales are.

What I sell is usually VERY slow over the summer (board games).

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe my competitors are closing their stores in protest to the hikes. I could live with that

Probably just a lucky streak.

75% of all my listing are relist and I have lookers but not many bids yet. It's hard to tell until the last minute sometimes.

Had one old collectable with 13 watchers the first day and 17 a couple of days later. Only had 5 people bid and final bid was pretty low. Rationalized that maybe some the rest were without power on Saturday evening or overcome with heat prostration.
