You know what would be real interesting. Listing everything that is going right with ebay. With all of the negative goings on at ebay at the present time, I thought a thread about the good things of ebay.
I will start it out.
All the wonderful people around the world that you meet, at least electronically, plus old aquaintances that happen to come across you in the auction process.

Thing's must not be going to good on ebay. I just read in another thread here that the link to "view all stores" on the ebay stores page is gone. It sure is and it was there earlier today. They must be loosing so many stores they now have to hide the store owners count.
On the plus side. Now that I have closed my ebay store I can dedicate more time to other thing's non ebay.

For some reason my sales this July are better than any year since I started in 1998! I guess I have been lucky to have what buyers wanted, and to think I almost took July off this year.

Hi
I just finished taking everything out of my 2 stores and sending them to auction.
Then I closed the 2 stores.......like you said Mike........time to do other things
I opened a store on Wagglepop and didn't get a chance to put anything it it yet, I just listed one item on there auction site.
Checking out there site I saw tons of postcard listings, home made soap, stamps baseball cards, I don't know if that's the place to be but for right now I guess its ok.
I know this was to be a positive thread......
Well to stick with the topic...I can't think of anything.....lol

It's really nice to be NARUed and not have any angst over the whipsaw from indecision as to what feeBay wishes to emphasis.

Lots of terrific people met all over the world. 99.9% good, .1% stupid or mean. However, many of the newbies don't seem to know how to communicate via e-mail!

Continuing to do what I truly enjoy doing with my time which is buying and selling terrific old jewelry pieces. The fact that my sell through rate is terrific doesn't hurt either.

#1 The new store pricing has FORCED me to look at the merchandise I had listed there... and clean my office. I am making box lots of inexpensive things for my yearly yard sale in Aug.
#2 that web site I have been TALKING about for 3 years is in the REAL research stage. What do I REALLY want from it,to look like, how do you REALLY drive traffic, how DO search engines work. I am having a professional design the page and put it together for me. Time to put up or SHUT UP!
#3 I have accessed the way my ebay pages look and have critically decided I don't like what I have been doing. Time for a professional upgrade. NO more cute... this is business.
#4 Stone ... bottom line answer to your question for me now as it has always been ... I have met some very interesting, compassionate, bright, articulate, sharp people through ebay. Most of them are right here on these pages ... My mind turns to this communities reaction to Neglus's nephew and Bev's nephew...they turned to this group of people for solis and found an outpouring of friendship and caring. eBay may drive all of us nuts but it has also brought us all together... many times. For this I'm grateful!
