Yes, I have come to the conclusion that ebay is the new Garage sale of the entire world. I listed a record in the store inventory. Lots of looks. Hummm no sales. Well, let's move it to auction and see what happens. . . More looks and no buys. I received a message on one of my active listings from a canadian ebayer that said something like: would you take a small pittance for this record and send it to me in Canada. I ignored it because I don't have it relisted yet. a week later I get another message from the same person on another active listing. "Do you want to sell the XYZ record or what?" Remember, I still haven't relisted it yet. I replied today by thanking them for their interest in my item. I haven't relisted the reoord but will be doing that soon. Would they like to be put on the preapproved list to be able to bid. (auction is set up for US ebay only with a big note stating that international bidders can bid with preapproval only. To contact me for more details).
My international bidder preapproval info in auction description reads: International bidders - Please Read: Contact me to apply for preapproval to bid on this auction. To be approved to bid on this auction, you must be located in an approved (by me) country that I am willing to ship to. Have a 100% postive feedback of 50 or more. Have been registered with ebay for atleast a year. Willing to pay with an International Money Order in US DOLLARS, drawn on a financial institution based in the United States (NO Paypal, no wire transfers etc)
I am sure this person will contact me again asking to sell it off ebay for a pittance.
Thanks for letting me rant. I KNOW I should open it up for Intern'l bidders etc but I don't want to do that at this time. If these folks agree to my terms before bidding, I, hopefully, will have less headaches.

It can seem like the biggest G sale in the world and in many ways it is.
I welcome best offers on all my store items and in one day I got 2 offers for the same item $50 & $165. I had to bite my tongue to keep from letting the $50 offer know what I really thought. But my reward was sweet as the 2nd offer came in about 6 hours later
International can be a pain but there have been times that I would not have made any sales if it were not for international.
