If this wavelet of Store closings is such a tragedy, where are all the anguished comments from buyers who are heartbroken that from now on they'll have less choice?
Could it be that most eBay bidders have no idea what Stores even are?

What's amazing to me after reading the ebay store boards, most people who are bailing are among the least affected. They have a couple of hundred or fewer listings, and probably sporadic sales. It may cost them $15 or $20 a month more. My guess is most of these people were losing money anyway, and this seemed like a good time to do it.

I believe that this is the link to figure out the quantity of stores. When someone first posted this link that were 8,630 pages of stores. There are now 8,617 pages. Then sometimes it goes up to 8,648. They are crazy probably don't want us to know the truth.

Don't forget that that's the number of pages with 25 per page. Kind of strange how the number of stores can go up and down by the hundreds in a couple of seconds isn't it. I agree, there trying to hide the real figures and using their funny ebay math.
