Paypal had an issue with paypal debit cards yesterday. They double charged several items on my account.
I called and they said it wasn't just me but all debit card holders. They promised to have it fixed today. If you have a debit card and have used it - you may want to check just in case.

Whewwwww, so it's not just me. I made a $400 ATM withdraw on the 14th and I check my this morning and it show's a duplicate withdraw yesterday for $400. That would be a little hard since I didn't leave the house and garage yesterday.
I called PayPal and they told me that they are working on a fix and should have it resolved within 24-48 hours. The rep I talked to told me to NOT expect to see it fixed today.

I've all but given up using my PayPal debit card because of their repeated screwups.
It's unfortunate, because I was pretty much using for everything: groceries, gas, postage, cash at the ATM, online to buy clothing and shipping supplies, etc. I thought that's the way we were *supposed* to use it.
And yet my card has been blocked five times this year because MasterCard's automated fraud alert went off. That's just unacceptable. They say they block access to my funds to "protect me". Bullcrap.
Ten days ago they blocked me again; this time someone at PayPal screwed up (and they admitted it!). My card expires next month but someone expired it a month early.
I set up a checking account for PayPal transfers and keep about $800 in there. Now when I need cash I get it from that account (for free, as opposed to a $2 withdrawal fee) and initiate a PP transfer in the same amount.

P.S. The duplicate withdrawal problem is not new. It happened a number of times last year and affected many people.
