Tropical depression 4 in the south Atlantic has just been upgraded to Tropical Storm Debby. This is the first of the "Cape Verde" cyclones to form this season, so conditions are now ripe for more tropical activity in the Atlantic and things may heat up very soon, storm-wise. This one will have some rough conditions to negotiate, but if it holds together and develops into a hurricane this Sunday, you'll see and hear plenty about it in the news. The present trajectory shows it on a collision with the east coast, most likely the NYC area.
If Murphy's law is correct, everything East of the San Andreas Fault will slide into the Atlantic

Can't deny I've seen my share of that kind of entertainment, but for me that title remains a part of male lore as I can't recall having actually seen it. Really.
With the advent of the internet, etc., etc., it's all in your face, and much too readily available. Nothing still beats (oof) the tango of real life experiences

Classic, maybe it "sucks growing old" but it sure beats the alternative!
