Temari aren't really intended to be Christmas ornaments though I suppose they could be used for that purpose.
There's some good info at temarikai.com.
Oops, I was wrong: "Smaller ones may be made for Christmas tree ornaments, and other home and personal accessories including jewelry."

Wow! Thanks, Zippy and LtRay. And I was going to start them all at $4.99, thinking they were just cheap things. I'll list them one at a time. What the heck.

You're welcome. I learned something new too because I didn't know that people used them as Christmas decorations.
I took a Temari class once. My last few remaining brain cells are STILL spinning.

Wow, that was a good catch. I would never have found that or what they were really supposed to be. Thanks for the education.

Zippy: I'm selling a large amount of Christmas decorations, angels, ornaments, etc., for a friend whose partner, a lifelong schoolteacher who loved to decorate his classroom, had died. They'd had triple of all their Xmas decorations, and the survivor didn't need them all. Among all that decor stuff were these Temari balls, so evidently they were used as ornaments by this couple.

Those must be some interesting listings. I'm already picturing them in my mind and drooling, lol. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas stuff but have recently whittled my 14 boxes down to a mere 5 and I am not allowing myself to even look at ornament auctions anymore.
Sniff. Wah.
I do allow myself to make thrift store ornament purchases but only for resale.

Thanks, Zippy. I'll let you all know how they do. I'll list three a week, one per auction, starting in a couple of weeks.
