Does anyone recognize the symbols on this pin and know what they represent?
I've been googling like mad because I have a feeling that it's a fraternal pin but so far I've found NADA.
Maybe it's an award of some kind?
It's very tiny and made of 10k gold. The laurel wreath is a separate piece. The back is marked "R 10K" in a diamond shape.

When you use photobucket, copy the last tag for Vendio.
Looks masonic - the sun and pyramids at least. Usually, there was a seeing eye in the sun's center though. So many fraternal groups, hard to tell. I suspect if you list it under masonic, someone will tell you in a flash what it really is?

I had to run and put a fire out at work.
Birgit, they're not pyramids. I thought they were too at first but they're actually mountains. There are little pine trees at their bases. (My photos stink. I need a new camera.)
I found this in the 25 cent box at a thrift.

It is not a Masonic pin this pin shows mountains not pyramids. Sorry I am not much help but Mason stuff shows an eye for the sun and pyramids not mountains. This site is loaded with Masonic stuff and I didn't find anything like your pin herefraternal pins co.

Is that a wagon train in the foreground of the picture? Can't tell. There are no marks on it? Does the clasp look old?

Just a guess but it could be Czech military from WW2. The symbol used for the Slovak Army in Czechoslovakia after the Germans occupied the country in March 1939 was three mountains. Only difference is that I have seen the symbol with a double barred cross over the mountains, not a sun. Possibly an oficers button?

Looks like some kind of variation on the Odd Fellows Lodge insignia...what's missing though is the three interlocked rings with the initials F, L, and T inside them. The laurels at the bottom and the all seeing eye at the top are right, but the mountains have me stumped.

Perhaps our Japanese experts can help. I know there is a popular china pattern with 3 mountains but I can not remember the name of the mountains. They are in Japan.
