I've seen, done and have learned alot over the years and maybe this is too simple that I'm missing it.....but can anyone tell me why this seller would have an item in North Dakota but is selling it on eBay (US) for Great Britain currency?

This auction should be roughly $4000 and since its too good to be true, I'm not bidding.

Using a google search, the email address in the auction comes up to another user name who has auctions on www.ebay.se. Haven't figured out what dot come se is? Sweden?

Opinions on why a seller would set up an auction as outlined above?

Possible stolen merchandise and seller attempting to hide the money trail? Could be any number of reasons and none of them good as far as I can see. You're smart to stay far away from this one and it appears most bidders agree with you as this item is only selling for 310 GBP and it should be much higher than that if this is a legit item.

Looks like a hi-jacked account to me. Compare this listing to other ones he has had - in US currency, plain simple text, no template, no yahoo email address.

I would report it to ebay T & S.

I missed that it was a one day sale. I still have a hard time finding the listing date on auctions.

I reported it to eBay and I'll let them work it out. Its an item we would have been interested in but it was too hokey to begin with.

Thank you all for your help!

Yes hi-jacked account. He probably doesn't even know it.

On eBay (as in life) if it "appears to be too good to be true" then it probably is...

Item 170037917538 has been removed and is now invalid so probably hijacked account.
